The three annual Forums are an important part of the annual rhythm of the fisheries management working dialogue between First Nations and DFO. They provide a vital space for face-to-face exchange, learning, and coordination. This is an important venue for First Nations to engage directly with one another and with DFO — to review technical information, share perspectives and knowledge, and develop collective positions that support indigenous co-management of Fraser River salmon.
